Four stages, zero surprises.
Every repair I take on follows the same four-stage workflow. It is not bureaucracy — it is how I keep myself honest and keep you informed.
From first call to keys back.
What happens at each step, in plain language, with no shop jargon.
-
[01] Day 1, hour 0
Intake & full diagnostic
You text or call. I ask six questions about the symptom, the car, and the history. If I’m the right mechanic for the job, we book the intake. If I’m not, I’ll point you to a specialist who is.
On arrival, I do a 45-minute computer scan, a road test, and a written report. No charge if you decline the repair.
-
[02] Day 1, hour 1
Written estimate
You receive a printed or PDF estimate — line by line, parts and labor separated. The number is the number. The estimate includes a realistic timeline and lists what is NOT included so there are no surprises.
You sign or walk away. Either is fine.
-
[03] Day 1 to Day 3
Repair & replacement
OE or OEM parts arrive at the shop. I send you a text with the part numbers before installation. Photos of the work in progress, every day, until completion.
Every fastener is torqued to manufacturer spec. Every replaced part is bagged and labeled for your inspection.
-
[04] Final day
Control, wash & delivery
Test-drive on the same route I used for the original diagnostic. Exterior wash. Final invoice matching the estimate. Keys back to you with the bagged old parts and the full photo log.
If anything I did fails within 36 months, you come back, I fix it, you pay nothing. See Cancellation & Refund Policy.
What you take home.
Every job includes a paper trail you can hand to the next owner of the car.
Written estimate
Line-item breakdown of parts and labor. Signed by both parties before work begins.
Daily photo log
Sent via SMS or email. Shows the car at each stage — tear-down, parts on bench, reassembly.
Torque log
Every critical fastener recorded with the spec value and the actual value. Signed and dated.
Bagged old parts
Every replaced component goes home with you in a clear bag with the work order attached.
Ready to begin? Send me the first message.
A 30-second text with the year, make, model and the symptom is enough. I’ll reply with whether I’m the right mechanic and what the next step is.
