Terms of Service
Last updated: 2025. These Terms govern the relationship between you and stingeneexpa.cfd, the independent automotive repair specialist operating wateanaccrab.com.
1. Who you are working with
This site, the booking form, and the work performed under any quote issued through it are operated solely by stingeneexpa.cfd. I am an independent mechanic, not a company, agency, franchise, dealership, or team. There is no corporate parent. There are no other employees.
2. Booking requests are non-binding
Submitting the contact or booking form on this site is an inquiry, not a contract. I will follow up with a phone call or text to confirm details. No work begins and no payment is taken until you have signed a written estimate.
3. Written estimates are binding
Once you and I sign a written estimate, that document is the contract. The price on the estimate is the price you pay for the labor and parts listed. If additional work is required, you receive a revised estimate and we sign again. No work proceeds without your signature on a revised document.
4. Pricing transparency
All price listings on this site, including on the Services page, are starting points. Final pricing depends on your specific vehicle and the actual condition I find at intake. State sales tax, shop-supply fees, and credit-card processing fees are not included in any displayed price unless explicitly stated. These items appear as separate lines on your written estimate.
5. Parts policy
By default, I install original-equipment (OE) or original-equipment-manufacturer (OEM) parts only. If you supply your own parts, my labor coverage applies to the work performed but not to the supplied part itself. I will tell you in writing if a supplied part is incorrect or of questionable quality before installation.
6. Workmanship coverage
My labor is covered for 36 months from the date of invoice. Supplied OE/OEM parts carry the manufacturer’s standard coverage, typically 12 months. Coverage applies to the work as described in the invoice and does not extend to damage caused by subsequent collision, modification, neglect, or operation outside manufacturer specifications.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel any unsigned estimate at any time at no charge. Once an estimate is signed and parts have been ordered, the parts deposit becomes non-refundable, as parts are typically sourced specifically for your vehicle. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy for the full terms.
8. Customer-supplied information
You agree that the vehicle information, symptom description, and contact details you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge. Withholding relevant information (e.g. recent collision, modifications, prior repair attempts) does not change the price you signed for, but it may affect whether the repair is the right one — which is why I rely on you to be straight with me.
9. Service area
I provide intake, diagnostic and delivery services across the continental United States. Mobile service within a 20-mile radius of my shop is included with any paid repair; longer-distance intake/delivery is quoted separately in advance.
10. Limitation of liability
My total liability for any single repair engagement is capped at the amount you paid me for that engagement. I am not liable for consequential damages such as tow fees, rental cars, or lost income unless those items were agreed in writing in advance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute is handled in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
